"Cold Cold Heart"

The war series had a lasting impact on my art. It started with "Why," then "Tags" followed by "Cold, Cold heart"

The notion of collective indifference by many in contemporary society toward the sacrifices of forefathers in wars past seemed so common, and sad. People carry on in their daily lives seldom stopping to think about let alone share a moment of solemn gratitude for those lost.

Frivilous pop culture, and me-me-me attitudes, were often of most importance in shallow minds, that prevailed selfishly through contemporary lives with "Cold, Cold, Hearts."

With this thought and powerful emotion I painted.
